We contributed to the organisation of their annual Boi-Lit Cultural and Literary Festival on 20th July, whose topic was memory, identity and culture. Our PhD student Julia Giese presented a paper on her research and Tanha Quadi, our research assistant, coordinated a “memory exercise” whereby participants were asked to write down meaningful memories on Bangladesh, migration, Partition, British Asian identity and to put them in a “memory box”.
